NEUROADS

Neurological, affective &
dissociative symptoms

OUR RESEARCH

Causes & mechanisms underlying neurological, affective, and dissociative symptoms.

We combine a range of methodologies, including clinical measures, lab-based experiments, psychophysiology, neuroimaging, digital remote monitoring technologies, and qualitative techniques.

01

TRANSDIAGNOSTIC

Understanding symptoms across and beyond diagnoses

We adopt a transdiagnostic approach in our work, which includes individuals with a range of clinical diagnoses. Our research also covers aspects of physical and mental health in non-clinical populations.
Functional neurological disorders (FND)
Dissociative disorders
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Affective disorders

MIND-BODY

Mind-body interactions

We have a particular interest in the intersection between mind and body — relationships between psychological and physical experiences, and the mechanisms underlying these interactions.

TRANSLATION

From mechanism to assessment & treatment

Our lab contributes to the development of novel assessments and treatments for neuropsychiatric disorders, such as digital, body-based, and psychological interventions. We are also involved in outcome monitoring, including analysis and dissemination of routine clinical outcome data, as well as developing innovative outcome measurement approaches.
